Call for submissions
Application is open to any pianist with Hungarian citizenship residing in Hungary or abroad, and also to pianists
of any nationality who either live or study in Hungary and lack Hungarian citizenship.
The Award has an age limitation, contestants are eligible to participate from ages 17-33.
The conditions for application require the exhaustive completion of the application form and uploading of the entry video.

The Zoltán Kocsis Award consists of two rounds:
Round I. application period: February 1, 2025 - April 10, 2025
The jury will select the participants who qualify for the second round held live based on the video recordings.
Round II. date and location: May 28, 2025, Franz Liszt Academy of Music
Award winner receives 3.000.000 HUF (net), however, jury reserves the right for a shared award too.

- Jean-Efflam Bavouzet pianist, International Chair in Piano at Royal Northern College of Music
- Edit Klukon Franz Liszt Prize-winning pianist

Application procedure:
- Submission of application form to the web address found below. Please, make sure to only submit application forms that have been filled out to completion!
- Uploading of a video recording of no longer than twenty minutes from the repertoire of classical music to the dedicated space found on the website www.kocsis-hauser.hu
- Accepted video submissions include both concert recordings and non-edited studio recordings made after January 1, 2023. Please, make sure to clearly specify the works performed in the video recording on the application form!
